Young Engineers’ in-school field trips provide a hassle-free way for teachers to enhance their students’ understanding of STEM concepts while enjoying a memorable and enriching day of interactive learning.
Provide your students with an unforgettable STEM learning experience where they follow simple directions and build exciting LEGO machines, whilst having the opportunity for creative thinking.
Our fieldtrips are tied to the Alberta Ed curriculum and are available for Kindergarten to Grade 8 students with project choices based on unit focus.
Each workshop is 75-90 minutes in length, depending on the model build.
45 minutes - 60 minutes
75 minutes - 90 minutes

Book online by selecting your school, grade, and preferred model build. Please identify the number of classes per grade.
A Teacher’s checklist will be provided with everything you need to prepare for your field trip.
At the end of the fieldtrip, a growth tracker will be provided for every student. The goal is to assess the student’s perception of the model build, ability to communicate what they learned and built, and to take note of the creative enhancements made throughout the sessions.
